Hello everyone! My name is Alfred Shum. This is the start of my blog for my Senior Research with LoopLogic! I'm looking very forward to it.
My objective of this internship is to create a business model of LoopLogic as a video streaming site. We all know of YouTube right? A popular site for posting videos, it makes sense that there would be some pros of working with YouTube to create a professional business video center revolving around one's business.
However, YouTube isn't the only competitor in this market. There are several other video sites, such as Vimeo and Vidyard, that offer alternatives with their own advantages or disadvantages. But to make an informed decision, one must examine all options. And that's my job. By working with Mr. Legay of LoopLogic and Mr. Smart of Basis Scottsdale, I aim to create a comparative business model of this market so as to benefit the business community as a whole.
By working at LoopLogic, I will also be gaining experience from working in a computer science based job. I am looking forward into majoring into a computer science degree in college, so working with experienced programmers will teach me a lot about how a job in programming operates in the world.
